Overcoming Fear

This is one of my favorite quotes.  It deals with overcoming fear.  As a small business owner, what fears are holding you back? Are you afraid of taking your business from one level to the next?  What obstacles are preventing you from reaching those goals?

Fear plays a big role in our personal and professional lives.  Many business owners I meet with are overcoming the “fear” of stepping out of their comfort zone. Others fear rejection. One of my fears is failure.  Being successful in business or life is not always about the bottom line.  However, most people that are successful talk about overcoming their fears, setting goals, stepping out of their comfort zone and being determined.

I am not perfect and neither is my business.  I cannot prevent failure but I can learn from my mistakes, learn to overcome my fears, create goals, work hard and hope for the best.  I will fail at times but if I succeed more than I fail then I am doing something right.

Don’t let your fear keep you from becoming great.  Don’t let your fear as a business owner hold you back from a new partnership, customer, idea, or business solution.  Turn that fear around and look at all the possibilities on the other side.  Don’t let your fear prevent you or your business from success. You really won’t know unless you try.
